Making Tax Digital (MTD)
Making Tax Digital begins on the 1st of April 2019 for VAT registered businesses above the threshold of 85K. From that day, all businesses above the VAT threshold will have to keep digital records, and submit their VAT returns using HMRC compatible software for MTD. Auto Enrolment Government Pension Scheme
The law on workplace pensions has changed. Each employer in the UK must enrol eligible staff into a pension scheme and contribute towards it. This is called ‘automatic enrolment’. Even if you only employ one person, you must enrol them in a pension scheme, this is a legal duty. If you as an employer fail to comply, government enforcement action and/or a penalty may be issued.

Accounting Software Training
Do you have staff that need additional training on accounting software?
These days most of the major software companies only offer ‘on-line’ training, which in many cases is difficult to follow and understand. In our experience, it is easier if the training is on a ‘one-to-one’ basis. That way, the training can be tailored to suit individual company needs. Unfortunately, this can be very expensive for small companies as a day’s training can be in excess of £1000. We specialise in small company accounting and understand that such fees are out of range of most small companies.
